National Reconciliation Week

02 June 2025

As National Reconciliation Week (NRW) draws to a close, it’s important to reflect on this year’s theme, ‘Bridging Now to Next’, and its significance in the journey toward a more just, equitable, and reconciled Australia. NRW is a time for all of us to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation.

In our industry, we’re privileged to have many opportunities to engage with and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, whether through our projects, relationships, or suppliers.

At Leed, we are committed to walking alongside First Nations peoples, seeking out partnerships with Indigenous businesses, and creating respectful, meaningful, and lasting opportunities that contribute to economic empowerment and cultural connection.

Our teams attended several events throughout NRW, including the Reconciliation Australia Breakfast in Adelaide and Cooma’s inaugural Reconciliation Walk.

Reconciliation in Australia is an ongoing journey for organisations and individuals. We encourage our staff, clients and partners to learn more about reconciliation here: https://lnkd.in/fRGry5x and consider how we can move forward together, guided by the lessons of the past to shape a more just and equitable future.
