Our team

The Leed team includes a diverse range of talented experts and professionals in various fields, from engineering and project management to plant operations and construction, plus ICT, HR, finance and more. Our teams work together toward our shared purpose of delivering sustainable infrastructure that enriches communities and creates a better tomorrow.

 In 2023, we welcomed structural remediation and infrastructure maintenance specialists Ecospec into the Leed Group, expanding our ability to provide an enhanced service offering for our clients. Leed is also in a partnership with Indigenous-owned and operated construction business Birubi, A South Australian-founded company, Birubi and Leed work together to deliver projects across the state, with a focus on optimising Indigenous engagement and employment.

The board members

  • Andrew is a founder and co-owner of Leed and a Civil Engineer with more than 38 years’ experience in the design and construction of civil infrastructure including bridges, dams, building works, road, rail, water and wastewater across Australia. Formerly a Managing Director of Leed, Andrew is passionate about the critical role that private, self-performing construction companies play in the industry.
  • Craig is a co-owner of Leed and a Civil Engineer with more than 35 years’ industry experience and a passion for improving communities through the delivery of outstanding infrastructure. He has held key leadership roles with leading civil construction companies and is an active contributor to the advancement of the construction industry.
  • Mark has over 40 years' leadership experience in engineering and water infrastructure and a comprehensive understanding of the industry from the perspective of both service providers and water authorities. With experience in a number of Board roles across the private and not for profit sectors he also held in senior leadership roles at a major water utility and an international engineering design consultancy.
  • Trevor is an accomplished lawyer and business adviser with over 35 years’ experience as a manager and director. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and is an accredited LEADR mediator. Trevor advises Leed on company management, commercial transactions and corporate governance responsibilities.

Executive leadership team

  • Craig is a co-owner of Leed and a Civil Engineer with more than 40 years’ industry experience and a passion for improving communities through the delivery of outstanding infrastructure. He has held key leadership roles with leading civil construction companies and is an active contributor to the advancement of the construction industry. 
  • A chartered Civil Engineer with over 27 years’ experience, Jill is a skilled executive manager with expertise in strategic planning, risk management, finance and cost management. Jill has worked within Industry Bodies in her role as Chair of Fellowship program with Roads Australia and is recognised for her capabilities in stakeholder relations.
  • Responsible for the overall performance of Leed's Corporate Services department, Jo is a people and culture specialist with over 20 years’ management experience. She specialises in HR transformation, industrial relations, organisational development and cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Jonny is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with almost 20 years' experience working within Big 4 accounting firms and within the engineering and civil construction sectors. Leading the finance team with a focus on continuous development, teamwork and connection within the business, Jonny brings experience across corporate governance, tax, financial reporting and strategic planning. Committed to delivering transparent financial reporting, risk management and strategic planning, Jonny collaborates across the business to achieve strategic goals and drive company success.
  • Leigh has over 36 years’ experience in the supervision of major civil infrastructure projects and has been with Leed since its inception. Responsible for providing leadership and direction to Leed’s construction workforce, he is recognised for his ability to develop construction techniques and methodologies to identify the most suitable and cost-effective solutions for clients.
  • Paul is a Civil Engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and is highly skilled in managing complex projects. Whether the project entails major earthworks, water infrastructure, mining, or the construction of structures and services, Paul’s skills in liaising with clients and stakeholders and his strong leadership of the team contribute to outstanding outcomes.
