Sustainability
Our commitment
Leed’s approach to operations and project delivery is centred around sustainability in all its forms. We consider environmental initiatives in our material selections and construction techniques and adopt solutions that optimise asset longevity.
We are committed to leaving a lasting and positive impact on the communities we work in. We do this by prioritising local employment, offering training and development opportunities, and optimising industry engagement. A Leed, a successful project is one that not only strengthens industry capabilities but also empowers the local community to play a role in constructing their future.
Our approach to project delivery focuses on creating positive impacts throughout all stages, ensuring that the benefits continue long after our work is done.
We are driven by a sustainable approach to everything we do and continually seek new methods and innovative solutions.
To achieve these goals we:
- Work cooperatively with stakeholders and local communities to minimise environmental impact and disruption and deliver long term benefits
- Source sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible
- Continually assess and improve our processes to optimise use of resources, minimise waste and maximise reuse
- Provide education and training in order to improve our people’s skills, awareness, knowledge and practices
- Aim to always leave our work environments in a state equal to or better than we found them
