Concrete milestone for the history books

28 January 2026

Our team marked a major milestone recently with the largest continuous concrete pour in Leed’s history.

The team poured 900 cubic metres of concrete in a single overnight operation to create the slab for what will become Goulburn Valley Water’s new 36ML Clear Water Storage tank in Shepparton, Victoria.  These works involved a large team and 127 truckloads of concrete arriving throughout the night.

Achieving this milestone required meticulous planning and testing as well as the pre-installation of 25 tonnes of steel reinforcement and 29 tonnes of post-tension cabling.

The $13.5M project aims to create additional water storage for more than 130,000 people across 54 towns in Victoria. The new tank will be 74m in diameter and 10.3m high once complete.
