A new post-tensioned concrete tank is rising at Jerrabomerra in regional NSW.
Works on the Jerrabomberra 19.6ML concrete reservoir are progressing well. Leed’s concrete base pour (pictured) was completed recently, precast wall panel construction is complete and the team is now preparing to lift the wall panels into place.
The overnight base pour operation saw our team and project partners place approximately 475 cubic metres of concrete.
Working at night on this elevated site overlooking Jerrabomberra added another layer of complexity. The timing of these works required careful coordination between the local council, local landowners and stakeholders.
We’re proud to be delivering this project for Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council.
When complete, the tank will deliver the equivalent of eight Olympic swimming pools of additional water capacity to the local community.
