There’s more to our work than what happens on site. Sometimes the impacts are felt more broadly in the regional communities where we work.
We were proud to continue our support for Cooma’s annual charity golf day. This year’s special event, run by the local Community Chest charity, raised more than $18,000 for people doing it tough. These funds will go directly towards practical support across the community — from excursions and everyday school costs, to heating homes during the colder months and assistance for people needing seeking mental health support.
Our team has been building new infrastructure in the Snowy Monaro region for more than a decade, and we’re pleased to continue this support beyond our project boundaries and into the wider community.
With more than 90 people coming together for the charity event, it’s a great example of what community connection can achieve.
