Friday, July 29, 2011

FSCLeed Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd (Leed) is pleased to announce that in July 2011, we were reaccredited by the Federal Safety Commission to the Australian Government Building and Construction Occupational Health & Safety Accreditation Scheme. The reaccreditation process involved a rigorous audit of our AS/NZS 4801 compliant health and safety systems, processes, procedures and related documentation, as well as training and field performance.

This achievement is a testament to our focus on safety as a critical and integral element of our commitment to operational excellence. That commitment is underpinned by our ‘can do safely’ attitude.

The FSC reaccreditation compliments our other important and related certifications, such as:

  • OH&S – AS/NZS 4801
  • Environmental Management – ISO 14001
  • Quality Management – ISO 9001.

All Leed employees are committed to Zero Harm for all working in, or visiting, our workplace. We care about safety and believe it is a shared core responsibility - not just a process.

We proactively manage and monitor safety as an integral part of our operational work processes/practices, and conduct mandatory ongoing training for all of our people, irrespective of their role in the company. We also work diligently to ensure our subcontractors work safely within our overall safety system.

Leed remain committed at all times to the safety of our colleagues, our clients, our partners and the communities within which we deliver important civil infrastructure.
