Glenelg to Adelaide Pipeline

Friday, March 07, 2008

This project is the first full alliance project undertaken in South Australia. The pipeline route traverses a mixture of terrain, and private and public corridors. A preliminary design was developed allowing a cost estimate to be prepared in preparation for submitting a TOC to SA Water.

The project particulars are as follows;

  • 35ML/day Treatment Plant capable of 6.5 log removal;
  • 3 pump stations;
  • 10km of 750mm pipeline from the Glenelg Waste Water Treatment Plant to Adelaide Parklands; and
  • 40km of ring main in the Adelaide Park Lands – in sizes ranging from 550mm to 150mm
