Leed Opens Regional Office in Bendigo

Monday, October 16, 2006

Leed Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd (Leed) is pleased to announce that it has established a permanent office based at Bendigo to continue its civil infrastructure construction activities in Central Victoria.

The Victorian division will be based at 76 Collins Street, Kangaroo Flat and continues the company’s divisional expansion that commenced three years ago with the establishment of a branch at Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs in South Australia.

Leed’s focus will be on developing its staff, servicing core clients and improving the Collins Street office and plant workshop during 2007.

Gary and Ian McClure (formerly of McClure Earthmoving) have accepted positions as Regional Manager and Construction Supervisor respectively of the Victorian division. Leed has also offered employment to a number of former McClure Earthmoving employees.

When the Victorian division is fully operational, Leed will employ approximately 150 people, own and operate over 100 items of major construction plant in South Australia and Victoria.

Leed’s vision is to grow its business in regional Victoria and is demonstrated by the recent completion of the Bendigo Sewer Augmentation Pipeline and Barkers Creek Reservoir Upgrade for Coliban Water.

Any queries relating to the Leed Victorian operation can be directed to Mark Jones (Managing Director) or Paul Blandis (Commercial Manager).
