Andrew Millar—Managing Director
Andrew is co-founder of Leed and a Civil Engineer with 35 years’ experience in the design and construction of civil infrastructure including bridges, dams, building works, road, rail, water and wastewater across Australia. He has extensive experience in many forms of contract delivery including alliance, partnering and early contractor involvement for major projects.
As well as being Managing Director, Andrew is also Engineering Director for Leed’s Central Region.
Graeme Lawler—Business Unit Director, Eastern
Graeme is a Civil Engineer and co-founder of Leed. He has over 35 years’ experience in the design and construction of civil infrastructure and building projects around Australia and overseas including defence, mining, processing, transport, water, wastewater, commercial, industrial, residential and marine projects.
Graeme is responsible for Leed’s Eastern operations as well as being Engineering Director for the Eastern Region.
Trevor Baldock—Board Adviser
Trevor is an accomplished lawyer and business adviser with over 35 years’ experience as a manager and director. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and is an accredited LEADR mediator.
Trevor's work has included advising businesses on business regulation, corporate law, commercial transactions, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and he has considerable experience applying this expertise to engineering, mining, construction and development projects.
Trevor advises Leed on company management, commercial transactions and corporate governance responsibilities.
The Executive consists of the Directors, the General Manager, Corporate Services, the General Manager, Operations and the General Superintendent.
Jo Friedrichs—General Manager, Corporate Services
Jo has over 15 years’ management experience, specialising in HR transformation and organisational change. She has strong expertise in general HR management, training and organisational development and industrial relations management. Jo is responsible for the overall performance of the Corporate Services department and is known for her ability to translate strategy into action.
Leigh Sutherland—General Superintendent
Leigh has almost 30 years’ experience in the supervision of major civil infrastructure projects. He has worked for various authorities throughout Australia and has been with Leed since its inception. He has the ability to analyse construction techniques and methodologies to identify the most suitable and cost-effective solutions for clients.
Paul Teakle—General Manager, Operations
Paul has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and is highly skilled in managing complex projects. Whether the project entails major earthworks and pavements, mining, or the construction of structures and services, Paul’s liaison with stakeholders and strong leadership of the team contributes to outstanding project outcomes.
